About wagumi

wagumi is a design shop based in the Oxo Tower on London's southbank. Owned and produced by Lives Inc from Japan, it aims to showcase the best in Japanese design and crafts - and doing so, we assist small producers, bring new life to traditional aesthetics, and support fresh ideas in design.

wagumi is a place to connect and expand horizons, to open new markets and find new ideas.

Based on south bank of the River Thames, wagumi is not far from some of London's most famous theatres, galleries and centres of art and design.

Into this mix it introduces a carefully selected range of Japanese design products, in materials and styles that reflect regional traditions, and with ideas often new to Europe. This could be in wood, metal, ceramics, fabric or paper - in touch with tradition and craft, but contemporary in outlook and feel.
